New flag of Chad

Flag of Chad is newer than flag of Romania. Because of that, vexillographers propose new different flag for Chad rather than for Romania. Many proposals are based on CoA of Chad. I am aware of these proposals with red sun: Leoninia; DeathPwnie; NikNaks93 and these proposals with arrow: varpho; FederalRepublic (OK, it is chevron). Chevron is in this flag too. This proposal by Polskan made me realize that Chad has no reluctance to horizontal red-yellow-blue tricolor, as Romania has (it was flag of Budapest). Proposal by Polskan could be flag of Chad without CoA, or even without white chevron. The result you can see in ZIP file after downloading this deviation. But wait.

Chad is poor country and changing a flag is not cheap. Thus I decided to make the flag cuttable from current flag of Chad. Square flag with ratio of stripes 1:2:1 would be unique symbol, distinguishable from other red-yellow-blue horizontal striped flags. The version with ratio 3:2 would be declared co-official and new flags would be created rectangular instead of square-shaped. Red is up because red sun is up in CoA. Similarity with Annan's flag of United Cyprus is unintentional.
